AMS NEVE
50년 이상 AMS Neve는 전문적인 오디오 설계와 엔지니어링에 있어서 대표해 왔습니다. 1961년은 기술 분야에서 분수령인 해였다. 그 해는 인류가 처음으로 우주로 보내 졌고, 오늘날 지구를 가로지르는 통신 위성의 선구자인 텔스타르의 발사를 보았습니다. 영국의 전자 제품 디자이너 루퍼트 니브가 자신의 이름으로 회사를 설립한 해이기도 했습니다. Neve Electronics는 최고의 오디오 콘솔과 시스템을 전문으로 하여 클래스 A디자인과 고품질의 구성 요소를 활용하여 그 당시 업계에서 타의 추종을 불허하는 최고성능의 장비를 생산하였습니다.
캠브리지 지역으로 이전한 후 1964년 Neve는 런던의 Philips Recording Studio에서 세계 최초의 상용 트랜지스터 기반 혼합 콘솔을 설계 및 제작했습니다. Neve라는 이름이 만들어졌고, 그 회사는 곧 유명한 스튜디오 엔지니어들을 위한 맞춤형 콘솔을 생산하였습니다. 이러한 성공을 바탕으로, 캠브리지 근처에 있는 Melbourn에 있는 특별 제작 공장으로 옮겨 갔고, 1968년에 유명한 2254 Comp/Limiter for ABC Weekend Television을 제작했으며, 그 다음 해 세계 최초의 솔리드 스테이트 스위칭 매트릭스를 제작하여 북미에서 처음으로 제품을 사용할 수 있게 되었습니다.
